It's me Daynine, aka QueenDay!!
My desire to do hair started at the age of 12. Several days a week, I would watch my grandmother style hair for my mom, aunts, the ladies of the church and the children in her daycare. Soon after, I started braiding my aunt's hair. From there, I would braid and style hair for friends of my aunt's and uncle's while in middle school. I also learned how to do acrylic nails and would practice on my friends.
As a Junior in High School, I enrolled into beauty college and received my cosmetology license at the age of 18. Being a Hair Stylist became a bit challenging after starting my family so I went back to college, graduated with my Bachelor's Degree and worked as an Executive Assistant in hospital administration for 11 years. It was in that position that I realized I needed to pursue my entrepreneurial spirit so I left the hospital and started my hair company.
My early work focused on fashion-forward styles and bold transformations, which helped me build a reputation in the local beauty scene. But it wasn't until I met a client who was suffering from hair loss due to a medical condition that I found my true calling. That experience changed everything for me. I realized that the emotional psychological toll of hair loss was profound, and I wanted to use my skills to help people regain their confidence. At the time, I began to focus on offering wigs, hair extensions, and hair toppers specifically tailored for those experiencing hair loss, no matter the reason.
Over time, I've developed a specialty in this area, working closely with clients to create custom solutions that look natural and help them feel like themselves again. My business has grown as word spread about my ability to combine style with compassion, and I have become known for creating wigs that are not just beautiful, but life-changing for those dealing with hair loss.
Today, my passion continues and I enjoy helping everyone feel empowered through the transformative power of hair.
